Membership
in the Walworth Historical Society is open to anyone interested in preserving
the past. Regular business and program meetings are held four times
each year on the third Monday of March, May, September, and November.
Our May meeting is considered our Annual Meeting and consists of a potluck
dinner and election of officers.
At the March 19, 2007 meeting of the Walworth Historical Society, the officers and board of trustees proposed a change in the price of some of the levels of membership. They had remained the same for many years and due to increasing costs and activities it became necessary to propose this. The membership fully supported this and these price proposals were ratified. The new costs of membership in the Walworth Historical Society are as follows:

levels of membership represent yearly dues except the Life membership.)
There are several ways you can
help the Walworth Historical Society meet its objectives. You can join
the WHS, attend meetings, bring a friend along to meetings, and help
with museum projects. Also you could serve as an officer or trustee
and even remember the WHS in your will. Others have contributed money
to the society in memory of a departed friend or family member. |
